*Although I have added Upper and Lower, Split and Double features it comes with a caveat read more about it below.
Due to a MIDI problem in the UBXa SPLIT and DOUBLE Modes do not work correctly. The problem is explained in the Firmware section of the help page. When you select a new Split or Double program you should turn SPLIT DOUBLE on. When this is on the editor will try and fix this problem but it depends on each program.
Basically, any split/double voices that have the Lower voice set to bank A should update correctly. However, if the Lower voice uses Bank B,C or D that will change the Upper voice to that Bank. Always select the Lower Voice from the editor. Turn off SPLIT DOUBLE when you are back in single mode.
Firmware and a MIDI Problem
This editor works with the latest firmware. Behringer call this V2 but it is actually version 0.3.117 and there are still some bugs. The main one is MIDI transmission of Bank and Program changes,
Lower Voice MIDI Program and Bank messages are sent on the same channel as the Upper Voice.
This is a big problem when using SPLIT or DOUBLE mode. If you change the LOWER voice it will also change the UPPER voice. This is only an issue when using it with the editor or a MIDI sequencer. Lower Program No is looped back the UB-Xa and is received by the UPPER voice. I have contacted Behringer hopefully they will understand the issue and update it on the next release. However, there are work arounds which are explained in the Help page

Mac versions were built on an iMac running Catalina. Plugins tested with Live 10, Logic 10.6 and Cubase LE 10.5. The plugins were compiled using Reaper. Users report that the standalone app works on later M1 Macs but the plugins do not. YMMV
PC version was built on VM running Windows 7 Home Basic. Worth a try but probably a long shot
